Our Background

Rising Mines Limited was formally incorporated on 28th June 2004 in Zambia and has been involved in minerals prospecting for several years. Zambia belongs to the famous Copperbelt region that comprises Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Copperbelt region is rich in copper, gold, manganese and cobalt.

Rising Mines Limited is focused on being amongst the leaders of mining developments in Zambia. Rising Mines’ flagship project is the exploratory License 24440-HQ-LEL in the Kapiri Mposhi District in Central Province within the Mulungushi Rock authority comprising an area of 2,387.5643 Hectares of mining land. Historically, Kapiri Mposhi has been a prospective area for copper, gold, manganese, silver, iron, uranium, cobalt, manganese and gold mineralization as far back as the 1950s. Various international prospectors have traversed the area in search of mineral deposits. Overall, the flagship project pre-feasibility studies suggest a mining operation with a significant output of copper and gold over a life of 25+ years is achievable.

Rising Mines is also in the process of completing formalities on the following additional licenses

  • 30224-HQ-LEL in the Kaoma District of North-Western Province
  • 24441–HQ-LEL in the Chongwe District in Lusaka Province
