Rising Mines Limited a Zambian company, was formally incorporated on 28th June 2004 and has been involved in minerals prospecting for several years.
Rising Mines flagship project is the exploratory License 24440-HQ-LEL in the Kapiri Mposhi District in Central Province within the Mulungushi Rock authority comprising of an area of 2,387.5643 Hectares of mining land.
Historically, Kapiri Mposhi has been a prospective area for copper, gold, manganese, silver, iron, uranium, cobalt, manganese and gold mineralization as far back as the 1950s. Various international prospectors have traversed the area in search of mineral deposits.
Overall, the flagship project is expected to deliver at minimum an average 24,000 metric tonnes annually of Copper cathode to the international markets over its projected 25-30 year life. Rising Mines is also in the process of completing formalities on an additional license 2441 – HQ- LEL in the Chongwe District in Lusaka Province.
